Nordic Tree Care Ltd is a locally owned and operated business that was founded in Canmore in 2023. We are one of the fastest growing tree services in the Bow Valley.
Our expansive equipment fleets allows us to take on any project of any size, including:

Fred Albrechtson
Arborist and owner, Fred Albrechtson is the founder of Nordic Tree Care Ltd. His upbringing through cross country ski racing has been crucial to development of the company.
He enjoys mountain biking, back country skiing, and the odd touch of nordic skiing, during down time – not that we get much of that!
Hayden Daniels
Hayden Daniels is one of our climbing arborists, and technical fallers. He spent 10+ years working in Wildfire, including hazardous tree felling in Alberta and Sydney Australia! His amassed experience in the Wildfire industry has allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of wildfire behavior. When he’s not climbing to new heights in the tree, he’s scanning for wildfire hot spots with his own Infrared scanning company, crushing climbing routes,
Jeff Lawrence
Jeff Lawrence is our seasoned ISA-certified arborist. With an expansive horticultural, arborist, and general sciences back ground, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the team, surrounding tree planting, tree health, and disease mitigation. Jeff is also one of our avid climbers.
On his off time, he can be found carving it up in the trees at Lake Louise, or hiking throughout the valley.
